Vancouver is a popular study destination for local students and international students. The Vancouver area boasts over 200 language schools, excellent continuing education programs and great universities, community colleges/technical institutes and career training and vocational schools. UBC, SFU and UVic are top universities, and the many community colleges feed into them with their transfer credit systems. Train to become a chef at one of the culinary arts schools, a hotelier by attending tourism and hospitality training, or a computer expert at a technical institute. The list is endless, and there is something for everyone at the many Vancouver education institutions, for credit programs or simply for general interest.

Vancouver welcomes students from around the world and every year, thousands of students come from Asia, Europe, Africa, South America and from every corner of the world, to upgrade their language skills and to continue with their higher education.
